How it all started at London Chimney and Fireplace Shoppe

London Chimney Services, Inc. started in July 1977. as a one truck, two employee operation providing chimney cleaning, flue cap installations, and minor masonry repair. In the early 1980's we became a full-service business with four technicians. During that time we expanded our service to include: real estate evaluations; chimney relining; firebox rebuilding; damper repair; and the installation of wood stoves, gas logs, and glass doors for local fireplace shops.

By the early 1990's, we started handling larger masonry jobs and fireplace restorations while expanding to six service vehicles. In 2001, we became re-certified (#203) by the "Chimney Safety Institute of America." Presently we operate between three and six service crews daily, depending on the workload.

We have become as authorized dealer of Lopi, Fireplace Xtrordinair, Heat-N-Glo, Majestic, and Hearthstone wood and gas stoves and fireplaces. We also carry Hargrove gas fire logs. It adds a nice finishing touch to your fireplace.
